BAREFOOT IN THE RAIN

The Vanishing of Emma Fillipoff

The 45-Minute Window

On November 28, 2012, Emma Fillipoff was seen standing barefoot in front of the Empress Hotel in Victoria, British Columbia. She appeared to be in a trance-like state.

Victoria Police were called and spent 45 minutes speaking with her. Despite her unusual behavior and lack of shoes in the cold November rain, they determined she was not a threat to herself and let her walk away into the night. She hasn't been seen since.

The "Green Shirt Man"

Years after her disappearance, a man was caught on surveillance footage tearing down Emma's missing person posters. When confronted by her mother, he claimed to know where she was but refused to provide details. We analyze this footage at the 15:20 mark of the video above.
